Job summary

Carollo Engineers is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design power systems for water and wastewater facilities in Orlando. You will perform load calculations, conduit routing, and MCC/switchgear specifications under supervision.

Requirements include 4–8 years in electrical engineering, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and familiarity with NEC, NFPA 820, NESC, and power systems. Strong communication and client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4 to 8 years experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Familiarity with power system applications, including calculation of available short circuit current, voltage drop, harmonic distortion, and power factor
• Field investigative and start-up experience
• Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA 820 and NESC
• Familiarity with the IEEE color book series
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting
• Have the ability to interact positively with clients

Compensation Range

$100,000 to $140,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
