Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; two to five years of electric line construction/maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical principles and ability to read safety rules and manuals.
• Experience operating line trucks and related equipment and working around energized systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain line truck and equipment; locate underground utilities and position digging equipment.
• Install, hang and connect transformers; pull lines and install underground cables.
• Repair, replace and maintain street lighting and distribution components; respond to service requests and outages.
• Participate in on-call rotation and work extended hours in adverse weather.
