Job summary

Delaware Nation Industries is seeking a System Administrator – Mid to support the Air Force JWICS/JITS mission. Responsibilities include administering Linux and Windows servers, maintaining virtualization infrastructure, and ensuring security compliance across classified and unclassified environments.

The ideal candidate has a DoD TS/SCI clearance, 3+ years of systems administration, and experience with DISA STIGs, ACAS/Nessus, and VMware vSphere.

Qualifications

Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
3+ years of professional systems administration experience.
DoD 8570/8140-compliant IAT II certification.
Experience administering Linux and Windows in an enterprise/DoD environment.
Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH) and server support knowledge.
Patching, configuration management, backups, troubleshooting, and security hardening.
Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Administer, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows servers, workstations, applications, and related computing environments.
Install OS, software, patches, updates, and security fixes per procedures.
Monitor system health, capacity, performance, and trends; identify corrective actions.
Perform Tier II and III troubleshooting for hardware, OS, virtualization, networking, and connectivity issues.
Manage user accounts, permissions, groups, access controls, and system configurations per security policies.
Support systems across classified and unclassified networks and data-transfer processes.
Maintain backups, recovery procedures, inventories, and SOPs.
Apply DISA STIGs, vulnerability remediation and DoD security controls.
Support vulnerability scanning and remediation (ACAS/Nessus).
Coordinate with cybersecurity, network, service desk, app teams to resolve incidents.
Document incidents, changes, troubleshooting actions, and resolutions.
Participation in maintenance, testing, after-hours/on-call support.
Cross-train with other admins and contribute to docs and process improvements.
