Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Nazareth, PA is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician for a second shift (1:30 pm - 10:00 pm). The position offers weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package after 30 days, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Valid CDL Class A preferred; must obtain CDL within 6 months after hire.
• Two years or more of combined classroom training and work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic equipment when applicable.
• Identifies root cause of failures and performs repairs as required.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the complaint.
• Follows Shop Management System and documentation practices.
• Complies with safety, DOT, MOT and other guidelines.
