Job summary

KBR in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Mid Software Developer to design and implement secure, end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles in cloud environments, with containerization using Kubernetes or Docker.

You will build CI/CD pipelines, apply GitOps principles, and collaborate with clients and internal teams to enhance security, scalability, and operational efficiency using AWS and other cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• 5 years of experience developing web-based applications and with Kubernetes or Docker.
• Experience building end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles in cloud environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD.
• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps practices and secure development lifecycles.
• Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and modern automation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement secure, end-to-end Kubernetes or Docker-based lifecycles.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with a focus on security and automation.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to architect containerized cloud-native apps.
• Apply GitOps principles for automated deployment and reliability.
• Ensure secure network configurations and cloud-based security architecture.
• Maintain infrastructure as code and perform log management and analytics.
