Qualifications

• 3-6 years of commercial litigation experience at a major firm or elite boutique.
• Active state bar admission in good standing; stellar academic credentials.
• Strong research, brief-writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Federal clerkship or extensive court experience, especially New York practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts, particularly New York's Commercial Division.
• Lead fact development, draft substantive motions, appellate briefs, and critical litigation documents.
• Manage discovery end-to-end, including taking and defending key depositions and overseeing expert witness prep.
• Appear in court for hearings, oral arguments, and conference proceedings.
• Collaborate directly with clients, partners, and co-counsel on trial strategy and settlement negotiations.
