Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz is seeking an Intermediate Lab Research Professional to support the Core Laboratory of the Colorado Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CCTSI). The role includes processing human specimens, performing assays, data entry, and maintaining SOPs, under supervision.

Responsibilities emphasize independent work with oversight, lab safety, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced research environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
• 1 year of professional level experience that includes working in a lab processing human biological specimens.

Responsibilities

• Handles human specimens including blood, urine, and sputum and performs assays such as automated chemistry analyzers, HPLC/UPLC, ELISA, and RIA.
• Writes and updates lab manuals and SOPs, maintains inventory/databases, handles day-to-day admin tasks for Core Labs, and supports other duties as assigned by the manager.
