Job summary

DOWL is seeking a mid-level Civil Design Engineer for our Vancouver, WA office. You will perform site development design with AutoCAD Civil 3D, coordinate with clients and regulatory agencies, and prepare construction documents for public and private projects.

You should have a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, a PE license or eligibility, and about four years of design experience. The role includes site visits, budgeting, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license required or incumbent eligibility.
• Minimum 4 years of Civil Design experience; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Site layout and grading.
• Utility plans and profiles.
• Street plans and profiles.
• Construction plans and details.
• Storm calculations and permits.
• RFI and submittal reviews and construction observation.
