Job summary

DOWL is seeking a mid-level Civil Design Engineer to join our Bellevue team, delivering site development designs with limited supervision. You will perform full design calculations, use AutoCAD Civil 3D, and prepare construction documents for varied civil projects, coordinating with clients and agencies to ensure compliant, timely results.

You will contribute to cost estimates, perform site visits, and mentor junior staff while growing technically and professionally within a collaborative firm

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Minimum of 4 years of civil design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead site layout, grading, and utility plan development.
• Prepare construction documents and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with clients and regulatory agencies.
• Conduct site visits and provide project oversight.
• Perform design calculations and QC of deliverables.
• Mentor junior staff and support team collaboration.
