Job summary

Swoon is seeking a mid-level C++ Software Engineer with hands-on development and troubleshooting experience. The role focuses on independent software contributions, diagnosing technical issues, and clearly explaining personal project work.

Experience with ADAS, computer vision, embedded systems, automotive or robotics is highly preferred. Key responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting C++ software, building apps in Linux, using GStreamer for multimedia

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
3–5 years of software development experience.
Experience working in Linux environments.
GitHub or comparable source-control experience.
Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to clearly communicate technical decisions and individual project contributions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot software using C++.
Develop and support applications within Linux environments.
Work with GStreamer for multimedia and data-processing applications.
Use GitHub or comparable source-control tools for development and collaboration.
Diagnose complex software issues and drive problems through resolution.
Collaborate with engineering teams while independently owning assigned development work.
