Job summary

Solü Technology is seeking a mid-level Business Analyst to lead requirements gathering, analyze business processes, and support solution delivery in Columbus, OH. You will work with business stakeholders and technical teams to elicit, document, and manage needs throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical and communication skills, experience with Agile/Scrum, and proficiency in SQL, Azure DevOps, Jira, and Visio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of business process modeling and requirements elicitation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, and requirements management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments; familiar with user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Knowledge of SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Exposure to Azure DevOps for backlog management and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Requirements Analysis & Documentation
• Lead requirements elicitation sessions with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and system interactions.
• Develop detailed business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure requirements are clear, complete, and traceable throughout the project lifecycle.
• Solution Design & Validation
• Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure solutions align with business needs.
• Support testing activities by creating test cases, validating functionality, and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies; propose mitigation strategies.
• Stakeholder Engagement
• Act as a primary point of contact for business units during project execution.
• Facilitate workshops, demos, and status meetings to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Process Improvement & Mentorship
• Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Mentor junior Business Analysts and share best practices.
• Contribute to standards and templates for documentation and requirements management.
