Job summary

Mental Health Association is seeking a Massachusetts Impaired Driving Intake Evaluator to conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments at the first visit for MID program referrals. The role includes completing required screenings, court evaluation letters, and enrollment documentation in a outpatient clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health/addiction field is required.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred; additional compensation for bilingual candidates.

Responsibilities

• Complete a Massachusetts standardized biopsychosocial comprehensive assessment, as well as corresponding addendums, during the first meeting.
• Complete required evidence-based screening tools, such as nicotine assessment, Tuberculosis screening, and health risk assessment.
• Complete court evaluations letters during assessments, to be provided to probation officers and/or referral sources.
• Complete required administrative documentation (authorizations, consents, agreements, acknowledgements and enrollment forms).
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner, meeting regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Billing Department regarding payment options.
• Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Participate in licensing and accreditation processes.
• Serve as a liaison to relevant service systems and state/federal agencies; develop partnerships and funding opportunities.
