Job summary

Playnetic is seeking a Mid Front-End Developer to help build the new game frontend framework and deliver high-quality player experiences. You’ll work closely with Lead and Senior Engineers on core engine features, game functionality, and performance improvements in a collaborative team.

You’ll contribute to modern frontend game development with TypeScript, React and Canvas-based tech, delivering scalable, maintainable systems while growing technical expertise in a greenfield initiative.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with TypeScript in commercial projects.
• Experience with React, Angular or Vue in frontend apps.
• Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID, design patterns.
• Experience building complex web apps or browser games.
• Comfort with Agile development and debugging complex issues.
• Ability to write high-quality, tested code.

Responsibilities

• Develop frontend engine features and game functionality using TypeScript, React and Pixi / Phaser.
• Build performant user interfaces, animations, and rendering systems.
• Collaborate with Lead and Senior Engineers on architecture decisions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Support optimisation, debugging and performance improvements.
• Work with designers, developers, and QA to deliver high-quality experiences.
• Contribute to engineering practices and standards.
