Rollbox is seeking a skilled frontend engineer to lead the development of new player-facing surfaces for their platform. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of React experience and a strong foundation in TypeScript.

The role involves collaborating with designers on UI elements, enhancing performance, and mentoring mid-level engineers. This position is fully remote, offering a dynamic work environment with generous benefits, including stock options and annual learning budgets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production React experience, including hooks‑era patterns.
• Strong TypeScript fundamentals — generics, conditional types, narrowing.
• Hands‑on experience with high‑frame‑rate animations.
• Comfortable with Vite, modern build tooling, and module federation concepts.
• Track record shipping consumer products at scale (100k+ MAU).
• Strong sense of UI craft.

Responsibilities

• Lead the build of new player‑facing surfaces end‑to‑end.
• Own performance budgets for animation‑heavy flows.
• Drive architecture decisions across the React stack.
• Mentor mid‑level engineers through reviews and design docs.
• Collaborate closely with designers on motion and accessibility.
• Improve internal frontend tooling and CI feedback loops.
