Specialty Building Products is seeking a dependable Warehouse Worker to join our lumber distribution team. You will inspect, pick, pull, and package lumber and related materials, with forklift duties if certified, in a fast-paced yard/warehouse setting.

The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; daily pay starts at $22 per hour with a mid-day shift starting at 12 Noon. Our team values reliability, safety, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or yard handling lumber or building materials.
• Forklift certification or previous forklift operating experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with heavy and oversized materials.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Carefully inspect lumber and materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies
• Pull lumber orders accurately based on load lists or customer requirements
• Pick materials for production or shipment
• Safely and efficiently put away materials in designated yard or warehouse locations
• Package and secure materials for shipment or customer pickup
• Operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment (if certified)
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
