Job summary

Specialty Building Products is seeking a dependable Warehouse Worker to inspect, pull, and package lumber and related materials in a yard and warehouse setting. Forklift experience is preferred, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely as part of a team.

Starting pay is $22 per hour with full-time benefits, and work is performed in a lumberyard environment with indoor/outdoor exposure. Join a team focused on accuracy, safety, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or yard experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or certification in forklift operation preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle heavy/oversized materials.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor.
• Reliable, punctual and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Inspect lumber and materials for damage or discrepancies.
• Pull lumber orders accurately based on load lists.
• Pick materials for production or shipment.
• Store materials safely in designated locations.
• Package and secure materials for shipment or pickup.
• Operate forklift if certified.
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
