Job summary

Sigma Defense is seeking a Mid-level International Agreements Specialist to join our DoD program in Alexandria, VA. The role focuses on planning, development, coordination, review, staffing, execution, and administration of international agreements supporting RDT&E, acquisition, and security cooperation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in international agreements, strong drafting skills, and a thorough understanding of U.S. and international defense laws.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in international agreements, defense cooperation, or related fields.
• Proven expertise in developing, negotiating, and managing international agreements.
• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing technical and legal documents.
• Strong understanding of U.S. and international laws, regulations, and policies governing defense cooperation, foreign disclosure, and technology transfer.
• Detail-oriented document review, analysis, and strategic problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Reduce agreement processing timelines and improve agreement quality.
• Develop, negotiate, review, staffing, coordinating, and amending international agreements.
• Draft precise agreement language and negotiate technical provisions.
• Identify and resolve issues to reduce staffing delays.
• Maintain milestone tracking and agreement status reporting.
