Job summary

Physicians Regional Medical Center - Pine Ridge Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for MICU on a PRN days schedule. The RN provides patient-centered care using the nursing process, coordinates with physicians and the care team, and ensures safety and quality outcomes.

The role requires 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care, RN licensure, BCLS, and aims to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care while adhering to infection control and regulatory

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care
• State licensure as RN (or compact licensure) required
• BCLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS preferred; NRP preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per nursing process
• Assess patients, document findings, report changes to care team
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR/code team
• Educate patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care
• Maintain infection control practices and equipment
