Job summary

Good Samaritan University Hospital in New York is seeking a MICU RN to provide care for highly acute patients. The role requires collaboration with physicians, RNs and staff to optimize outcomes and patient safety.

Candidates should have MICU experience, be skilled in reading cardiac monitors, and hold a NY RN license with BLS; BSN preferred and CCRN a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in MICU or other Critical Care units.
• Experience reading cardiac monitors.
• BSN degree or enrolled in BSN pathway; Associates considered if pursuing BSN.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, administer medications, document progress, and manage care for highly acute patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes and satisfaction.
• Advocate for patients and families through safety interventions, education and support.
