Job summary

Good Samaritan University Hospital, part of Catholic Health Services, seeks a dedicated SICU RN to provide clinical care for highly acute patients immediately post-surgery. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes and ensure effective communication with patients and families.

Candidates must hold a BSN, an active NY RN license, and BLS; ACLS and CCRN are preferred. This on-site role offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• BSN required for RN licensure in NY.
• Associates degree acceptable if enrolled in an accredited BSN program.
• NY RN license & registration required; BLS required; ACLS preferred; CCRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document care for highly acute SICU patients after surgery.
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and staff to optimize outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Advocate for patients and families through safety, education, and support.
