Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medical ICU in Winston-Salem, NC. This full-time position features 12-hour day shifts, a 35.1-hour work week, and eligibility for comprehensive benefits.

You’ll provide comprehensive patient care in a 32-bed MICU setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to monitor and treat critically ill patients while adhering to best practices and hospital standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS are required within 6 months of hire
• 1-2 years RN experience preferred

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
