Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking an Associate Nurse Manager (RN) for the MICU to assist in planning, directing, and evaluating patient care operations around the clock. The ANM will work under the Nurse Manager to develop staff, ensure high-quality patient outcomes, and support the Nursing department’s professional practice model.

Qualified candidates will have a BSN, an Ohio RN license, at least two years of clinical experience, and a leadership or administration certification timeline.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in nursing is required; master's preferred.
• Current Ohio RN license is required.
• Two years of clinical experience in patient care.
• Certification in nursing administration or related area, or certification must be achieved within eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, organization, direction and evaluation of patient care operations 24/7.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate the work performance of patient care staff under the Nurse Manager.
• Collaborate with other patient care departments to support operations and services.
