Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the MICU at our Cleveland campus. This full-time role (36 hours/week) schedules 7P–7A and offers a competitive pay range.

You will engage in governance, apply evidence-based practices, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality patient care. Qualifications include a BSN preferred, active RN license with multi-state or single-state privileges, and a minimum of 1 year in clinical nursing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN provides services.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units or facilities within the service area as needed.
