Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) served.
• BLS certification.
• Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
• Knowledge of ANA Code of Ethics and safe practice in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Monitors patient conditions, updates care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Ensures safety and proper patient- and family-centered care.
• May float to other units as needed within the service area.
