Job summary

Duke Health seeks an Experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the 8W MICU at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC. You will provide professional nursing care to acutely ill patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality care.

The ideal candidate has a BSN or higher, active NC RN licensure, BLS, and 12 months of clinical experience in a similar unit. Relocation assistance may be offered; Duke is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN program or higher.
• Current NC RN license (or compact) and BLS certification.
• 12 months of clinical experience in a relevant unit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide, supervise and document professional nursing care per physician orders and policies.
• Delegate tasks and supervise other care providers.
• Act as team lead/charge nurse when assigned.
• Maintain environment of care including equipment/resources.
• Support professional development and teaching of staff and learners.
