Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by Illinois.
• BSN degree.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• ACLS certification.
• 3–4 years of nursing experience in Critical Care.
• Experience as a charge nurse (1 year).
• Demonstrated leadership skills/experience.

Responsibilities

• This position assists the Manager of Clinical Operations in the MICU providing administrative and clinical leadership on all shifts.
• The Assistant Clinical Manager will help plan, coordinate and manage personnel and resources to provide the highest quality patient care with trained professional staff in the most cost-effective manner.
• This role will also assist in ongoing educational and professional development of staff and collaborate with physicians and other health care disciplines.
