Job summary

Raydeo, Inc. is seeking an experienced Microvellum CAD Support Specialist to join the Engineering / CAD / Production Support team.

You will provide hands-on Microvellum and AutoCAD assistance, troubleshoot libraries and workbooks, and help drive standardized drafting practices across the department. Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day technical support to CAD drafters using Microvellum and AutoCAD.
  • Troubleshoot Microvellum workbooks, libraries, assemblies, formulas, reports, and other system-related issues.
  • Assist drafters with complex projects and challenging design or production requirements.
  • Review drawings and Microvellum files for accuracy, consistency, and manufacturability.
  • Help maintain and improve Microvellum libraries, templates, assemblies, and standards.
  • Troubleshoot issues involving materials, hardware, construction methods, machining, and cabinet configurations.
  • Identify and resolve problems that could affect CNC production, purchasing, estimating, or manufacturing.
  • Serve as a technical resource and mentor for CAD drafters.
  • Help train new and existing team members on Microvellum best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to make CAD and Microvellum workflows more efficient.
  • Develop and maintain standardized drafting procedures and best practices.
  • Help eliminate repetitive errors and improve consistency across projects.
  • Work with management and production personnel to resolve issues between drawings and manufacturing requirements.
  • Test and implement Microvellum updates, library changes, and workflow improvements.
  • Document solutions to recurring Microvellum and CAD issues.
  • Improve flow of information between Microvellum and Innergy ERP.
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies between CAD information, BOMs, production data, and ERP data.
  • Collaborate with estimating, purchasing, production, and project management when CAD or Microvellum issues affect a project.
  • Help ensure CAD standards and Microvellum workflows support accurate manufacturing and ERP processes.

Position: Microvellum CAD Support Specialist

Employment Type: Full-Time

Department: Engineering / CAD / Production Support

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Microvellum Professional to join our team and serve as a technical resource for our CAD drafting department.

This position will work closely with our CAD drafters to provide hands-on support, troubleshoot Microvellum and AutoCAD issues, improve drafting processes, and help ensure drawings and production data are accurate and ready for manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Microvellum and AutoCAD, a solid understanding of cabinetry, casework, or architectural millwork, and the ability to help other drafters solve problems efficiently.

Our company also uses Innergy ERP, so experience with Innergy or a similar manufacturing ERP system is highly desirable. This position will help strengthen the connection between our CAD, engineering, estimating, production, and ERP processes.

Key Responsibilities
Microvellum & CAD Support
  • Provide day‑to‑day technical support to CAD drafters using Microvellum and AutoCAD.
  • Troubleshoot Microvellum workbooks, libraries, assemblies, formulas, reports, and other system‑related issues.
  • Assist drafters with complex projects and challenging design or production requirements.
  • Review drawings and Microvellum files for accuracy, consistency, and manufacturability.
  • Help maintain and improve Microvellum libraries, templates, assemblies, and standards.
  • Troubleshoot issues involving materials, hardware, construction methods, machining, and cabinet configurations.

Qualifications
Required
  • Strong professional experience with Microvellum.
  • Strong proficiency with AutoCAD.
  • Experience in cabinetry, architectural millwork, casework, or a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of how CAD drawings and data translate into physical manufacturing.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical and production‑related problems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a team and support other CAD professionals.
Preferred
  • Experience supporting, training, or mentoring other Microvellum users.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microvellum Workbooks, formulas, reports, assemblies, and production settings.
  • Experience with CNC manufacturing and machining workflows.
  • Experience with Innergy ERP.
  • Experience with other manufacturing ERP systems.
  • Experience with custom cabinetry, commercial casework, architectural millwork and metal, or similar products.

  • CAD drafters receive timely help when they encounter Microvellum or production‑related issues.
  • Drafters spend less time troubleshooting and more time producing accurate work.
  • Microvellum libraries, templates, and standards remain organized and reliable.
  • Drawings and production data are accurate and consistent.
  • Recurring problems are identified and permanently addressed.
  • Communication between CAD, production, estimating, and Innergy improves.
  • Our overall drafting and manufacturing workflow becomes more efficient.

This position is particularly well suited for an experienced Microvellum user who is ready to take on a technical support, mentoring, and process‑improvement role while remaining closely involved with the CAD department.
