Job summary

Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) is seeking a MicroStation/ORD Technician III in Warner Robins, GA to support utility engineering and GDOT projects. Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in construction, engineering, computers, or drafting.
• 1+ years of MicroStation / ORD drafting experience in utility engineering, utility mapping, or related fields.
• Proficiency in MicroStation / ORD drafting software; understanding of utility engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Process utility design files, maintain company standards, and ensure accuracy and GDOT style compliance.
• Coordinate with project managers to meet client-specific requirements and deadlines.
• Assist with QC of client deliverables to ensure SAM standards are met.
• Monitor multiple utility coordination projects, perform QA, and provide feedback as needed.
• Conduct initial quality checks on Utility Design/Concepts for proper clearance and conflict avoidance.
