Job summary

Andrews University seeks a Microsoft Systems Administrator to configure, maintain, and monitor on‑premise and cloud services, ensuring reliability and security of the university's IT infrastructure. Work closely with network, security, and application teams to support academic, administrative, and research missions and ensure high availability across systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing enterprise systems in mixed OS environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Experience with virtualization platforms and backup systems (Veeam, Commvault).
• Must be a Seventh‑day Adventist in good and regular standing.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, monitor, and secure on‑premise and cloud-based servers and services.
• Ensure availability and performance of core IT infrastructure including AD, virtualization, storage, backups, and enterprise apps.
• Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to sustain a robust technology foundation.
