Job summary

Old National Bank is seeking a hands-on SOC Manager to transform our Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR foundation into a high-performing, intelligence-driven SOC. You will lead internal analysts and MSSP-supported operations, improving detection quality, investigations, and incident response.

The ideal candidate has senior SOC experience and will build the operating model, metrics, and team culture to elevate our cyber defense program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; hands-on experience accepted.
• 7+ years of hands-on cybersecurity operations experience including SOC leadership roles.
• Experience managing SOC staffing, coverage models, and hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily SOC operations across internal and MSSP-supported monitoring, triage, investigation, and incident response.
• Own MSSP relationships and ensure escalation quality and service improvements.
• Implement AI-assisted investigation and response capabilities to improve speed and analyst effectiveness.
• Develop and monitor SOC KPIs/KRIs through dashboards and recurring reporting.
• Mature Sentinel/Defender XDR capabilities, including analytics, automation, and data routing decisions.
