Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Cyber Defense Platform Security Engineer (Microsoft) to design, implement, and optimize enterprise Microsoft security solutions across 365, Azure, Entra ID, Purview, and related services.

You will lead secure architecture, threat detection, incident response support, and automation with PowerShell, Python, or Bash, while aligning with NIST, ISO 27001, SOX, and PCI DSS requirements in a hybrid work model from Temple/Austin area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Cybersecurity/IT/CS.
• 5+ years administering, securing, and supporting Microsoft cloud and security technologies.
• Hands-on with Microsoft security platforms and services including M365, Entra ID, Azure, Exchange Online, Purview, DLP, Key Vault, AVD, Defender.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft security solutions across 365, Azure, Entra ID, Purview, DLP, AVD, and related technologies.
• Implement, configure, and optimize Microsoft security controls to defend against threats and improve security posture.
• Develop security automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash and support incident response.
