We are currently hiring for a Microsoft Purview Consultant for one of our enterprise clients. This is a hybrid role based in Delaware, Ohio (ZIP 43015), and offers an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge data governance initiatives.

Role: Microsoft Purview Consultant

Location: Delaware, Ohio (Hybrid ZIP: 43015)

Technical Skills Required:

Microsoft Purview Expertise (Required)
Unified Data Catalog: Experience setting up and configuring the catalog, managing collections, classifications, glossary terms, and metadata curation.
Data Quality (DQ): Implementing DQ rules, defining metrics (accuracy, completeness, consistency), and using quality scorecards and reports.
Data Map and Scans: Ability to configure sources, schedule scans, manage ingestion, and troubleshoot scan issues.
Data Insights and Lineage: Experience visualizing data lineage and interpreting catalog insights.

Experience:

5+ years in data governance or data platform projects, ideally with enterprise clients.
2+ years implementing Microsoft Purview.
Hands-on experience configuring and implementing Microsoft Purview Unified Catalog and Data Quality.
Experience onboarding multiple data sources (on-prem, cloud).
Background in data management, data architecture, or business intelligence is highly beneficial.

Certifications (Desirable):

Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
