Sogeti is seeking a Microsoft Fabric Analytics Architect in Bellevue, WA, blending hands-on data architecture with enterprise-scale analytics leadership. You will design, govern, and deliver Fabric-based solutions across ingestion, modeling, and reporting, guiding platform adoption and ensuring secure, scalable outcomes that align with business strategy.

You will lead migrations from Synapse and legacy systems, shape lakehouse and warehouse architectures, and drive reusable CI/CD frameworks

• 10+ years in data architecture, analytics platforms, or data engineering.
• Proven architecture experience delivering enterprise solutions on Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong background with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and SQL Server Data Warehouse.
• Experience with cloud-scale migrations, modernization, and enterprise BI deployments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead through influence.

Role: Microsoft Fabric Analytics Architect

Location: Bellevue, WA (Hybrid)

The Microsoft Fabric Architect is a senior technical leader responsible for designing, governing, and delivering enterprise-scale analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric and the Azure data platform. The role requires strong hands-on experience as a Data Architect with Microsoft Fabric, and other platforms/technologies like but not limited to Azure Synapse Analytics, SQL Server Data Warehouse, Azure Databricks, and modern Lakehouse and Warehouse architectures.

The architect defines target-state analytics architecture, leads platform adoption, and ensures scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions aligned with business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture for Microsoft Fabric solutions, from data ingestion to semantic models and reporting.
• Design enterprise lakehouse and warehouse architectures using OneLake, Fabric Lakehouse, and Fabric Data Warehouse.
• Provide technical leadership, standards, and guardrails for performance, security, governance, and cost optimization.
• Lead migration and modernization efforts from Synapse, SQL Server, Databricks, and legacy platforms to Microsoft Fabric.
• Design domain-oriented and data mesh architectures, enabling self-service analytics with enterprise governance.
• Build and promote reusable ingestion, transformation, and CI/CD frameworks.

Microsoft Fabric & Technology Expertise

• Microsoft Fabric workloads: OneLake, Lakehouse, Fabric Data Warehouse, Data Engineering (Spark/PySpark), Data Factory (Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2), Real-Time Intelligence (Eventstreams, KQL), Semantic Models (Direct Lake), Power BI.
• Data modeling: dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, medallion architecture.
• Languages: SQL (T-SQL), PySpark, DAX.
• DevOps: Git-based source control and CI/CD using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• Governance & Security: Microsoft Purview, RBAC, sensitivity labels.

Required Experience

• 10+ years in data architecture, analytics platforms, or data engineering roles.
• Proven architecture experience delivering enterprise solutions on Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong background with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and SQL Server Data Warehouse.
• Experience with cloud-scale migrations, modernization, and enterprise BI deployments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead through influence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications (Fabric Analytics, Azure Solutions Architect).
• Experience implementing enterprise data mesh or large-scale Power BI environments.
• Knowledge of and/or experience with Fabric subscription/tenant/capacity configurations and set up.
• Experience with workload distribution design across capacities, workspaces
• Experience with semantic modeling/ontologies for self-service BI/Analytics
