Join a technology-focused organization that leverages strategic partnerships to drive business growth, innovation, and customer success. As a Microsoft Alliance Manager, you will lead and develop key technology relationships, with a primary focus on the Microsoft ecosystem. You will collaborate with executive stakeholders, partner teams, and internal departments to identify growth opportunities and strengthen strategic alignment. By maximizing partner programs, incentives, and joint go-to-market initiatives, you will turn alliances into measurable business results. This role combines strategic relationship management, business development, and cross-functional leadership in a collaborative, remote-friendly environment. If you are passionate about technology partnerships and creating long-term value, this is an opportunity to shape business strategy and expand a growing partner network.

Accountabilities
  • Manage strategic partnerships: Serve as the primary relationship owner for Microsoft and other strategic technology partners, building strong relationships with executives, account teams, and key stakeholders.
  • Develop partnership strategies: Create and implement alliance plans aligned with business objectives, growth priorities, and long-term organizational goals.
  • Strengthen executive engagement: Lead partnership planning sessions, executive business reviews, and ongoing engagement activities to maintain productive, mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Maximize partner programs: Identify and leverage partner competencies, incentives, funding opportunities, certifications, and go-to-market initiatives to increase business value.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Delivery, Marketing, Product, Back Office Enablement, and executive leadership to coordinate partnership activities and align initiatives with business priorities.
  • Identify growth opportunities: Monitor technology trends, partner program developments, and market changes to uncover new opportunities for collaboration, investment, and business expansion.
  • Expand the partner ecosystem: Identify and develop relationships with additional strategic technology providers to strengthen the organization's market position and service capabilities.
  • Measure partnership performance: Track key performance indicators, assess business impact, and provide leadership with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Represent the organization externally: Participate in partner meetings, executive engagements, and industry events, maintaining a professional presence and strengthening business relationships.
  • Support continuous improvement: Evaluate partnership effectiveness and recommend improvements to engagement strategies, program participation, and joint business initiatives.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience: Demonstrated experience managing strategic technology partnerships, alliance programs, partner networks, or related business development initiatives.
  • Microsoft ecosystem knowledge: Strong understanding of Microsoft's partner ecosystem, including partner programs, licensing structures, incentives, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Relationship management: Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior executives, external partners, and cross-functional business stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking: Ability to translate business objectives into effective partnership strategies while maintaining a strong focus on execution and measurable outcomes.
  • Communication and influence: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions and build alignment without direct authority.
  • Business acumen: Ability to identify commercial opportunities, evaluate partnership value, and connect technology capabilities with business growth objectives.
  • Project and program coordination: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple partnership initiatives, priorities, and stakeholder expectations simultaneously.
  • Analytical capabilities: Ability to monitor partnership performance, interpret relevant metrics, and communicate recommendations clearly to leadership.
  • Technology industry awareness: Familiarity with managed services, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology solutions is beneficial.
  • Preferred Microsoft experience: Experience with Microsoft Solutions Partner programs, Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) programs, Azure partnerships, or other Microsoft alliance initiatives is a strong advantage.
  • Established partner network: Existing relationships within the Microsoft partner ecosystem are highly desirable.
  • Additional partnership experience: Experience working with Cisco, Dell, VMware, HPE, AWS, or other enterprise technology providers is a plus.
  • Go-to-market expertise: Familiarity with joint go-to-market strategies, partner marketing, and business development initiatives is advantageous.
  • Personal attributes: A collaborative, curious, and proactive mindset, combined with sound judgment, credibility, and a commitment to creating lasting value for partners and customers.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary: Annual compensation ranging from $97,000 to $115,500, depending on experience, skills, geographic location, and other relevant factors.

  • Wellness support: Resources to promote physical and mental well-being.
  • Technology access: Complimentary colocation and cloud access to support technical exploration, experimentation, and professional development.
