Job summary

Rimkus Consulting Group is seeking a Systems Engineer I to administer and support our Microsoft cloud and on-premises environment. You will engage in day-to-day operations, Microsoft 365 implementations, and project coordination.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Microsoft administration experience, strong SharePoint and Teams skills, and is eager to learn and take initiative. Responsibilities include Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID, Intune, and Azure management, plus scripting with

Qualifications

• 5+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Experience with Intune, Azure, Windows Server, AD, and hybrid identity.
• Strong written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to plan, test, and deliver Microsoft 365 implementations with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Administer Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, licensing, and external collaboration.
• Manage Teams policies, external access, and calling settings.
• Administer SharePoint sites, hubs, libraries, and permissions.
• Maintain SharePoint access, guest sharing, storage, and versioning.
• Maintain Entra ID and hybrid identity services.
• Administer Intune enrollment, Autopilot, and Win32 packages.
• Maintain Azure resources, Windows Server, AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP.
• Support Defender and Purview controls; review alerts.
• Use PowerShell, Graph, and Power Automate for admin tasks.
• Monitor system health, coordinate with vendors, and document findings.
• Help plan and test Microsoft 365 implementations.
• Provide after-hours support when needed.
