Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced leader to own the strategy, roadmap, and operations of the Microsoft 365 platform in a high-security environment. You will drive governance for Exchange Online, plan upgrades, and manage email security programs across global tenants.

You will oversee mailbox provisioning, retention, and threat protection, implementing Zero Trust principles and ITIL-aligned processes while coordinating with cybersecurity teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Advanced expertise in Exchange Online, Security features, and governance.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, governance, security, and lifecycle management.
• Familiar with Proofpoint and Defender for Office 365 security suites.
• Experience with anti-phishing programs and threat prevention.
• Proficient in Exchange Online routing, mail flow, and SMTP infrastructure.
• Knowledge of ITIL and ServiceNow processes.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, roadmap, architecture, and operations of the Microsoft 365 platform.
• Lead Microsoft 365 tenant administration and governance.
• Ensure platform availability, performance, reliability, and compliance.
• Manage service lifecycle planning, upgrades, feature adoption, and optimization.
• Lead Exchange Online administration and email security initiatives.
• Oversee mailbox provisioning, migrations, retention, and lifecycle management.
• Implement email threat prevention, phishing protection, and threat management.
• Conduct platform risk assessments and remediation planning.
