Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced IT security professional to administer and optimize Microsoft Defender XDR and related Microsoft 365 protections. The role focuses on integrating Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps, and Office 365 within an enterprise environment, while advancing governance and data protection controls.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or related enterprise technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID in an enterprise environment.
• Certifications in Microsoft security, compliance, identity, or related areas preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Defender XDR platform configuration and integrations across Microsoft 365 environment.
• Manage configuration and integration for Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud Apps, and Defender for Office 365.
• Implement preventive platform controls, posture improvements, and cross-product protection integrations.
• Administer SaaS and cloud application governance, including OAuth permissions, app registrations, and service principals.
