Overview

A national professional services organization is seeking a Microsoft 365 Messaging Engineer to support and manage its Microsoft 365 messaging and Exchange environment. This role focuses on maintaining secure, reliable email and collaboration services in a hybrid enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Exchange Online and hybrid Exchange environments
• Assist with migrations from on-premises Exchange to Microsoft 365
• Manage mail flow, email security, and compliance settings (DKIM, DMARC, SPF)
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph
• Troubleshoot complex messaging issues and serve as a senior escalation point
• Work with identity and endpoint teams on Entra ID, Active Directory, Intune, and access controls

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT infrastructure experience
• 5+ years supporting Exchange and Microsoft 365 messaging
• Strong PowerShell scripting and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with hybrid messaging environments and email security platforms
