Job summary

A technology support firm is seeking a Microsoft O365 Exchange messaging engineer to facilitate a large divestiture of over 20,000 mailboxes from Office 365 Dedicated to multi-tenant. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge of mail protocols, systems integration, and have expert PowerShell scripting skills. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Core SMTP/Edge Transport technologies and 5 years with Exchange Online is required. This role plays a critical part in enhancing email system integrations.

Company Description

Microsoft O365 Exchange messaging engineer to support large divestiture moving 20,000+ mailboxes from Office 365 Dedicated (BPOS-D) to multi-tenant. This role works focuses on integrating 3rd party SMTP edge products with Exchange Online Protection (EOP). The ideal candidate is thoroughly knowledgeable in email RFC's, mail protocols, and systems integration. PowerShell scripting experience is desired.

Qualifications

• Well-grounded in mail routing concepts and complex mail routing schemas.
• Hands‑on experience with edge services such as Office 365 Dedicated, Multi‑Tenant, OME, Domino, Mailgate, Symantec (SEMS/PGP)
• Expert level PowerShell scripting capabilities
• Experience using Excel pivot tables, filters and lookups to analyze data
• 10+ years Core SMTP/Edge Transport technologies
• 5+ years Office 365 Exchange Online
• 3+ years PowerShell scripting.
