Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Microsoft 365, Endpoint, or Platform Engineering.
• Expertise with Microsoft 365 Admin, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID, Intune, and Azure governance.
• Proficient in PowerShell, Graph API, Terraform, and automation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the Microsoft 365 platform including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, and Entra ID.
• Design and implement identity, access management, and endpoint security solutions.
• Advance automation and IaC using PowerShell, Terraform, Graph API, Azure CLI, and GitHub.
• Manage Azure resources supporting the Microsoft ecosystem.

Microsoft 365 Technical Lead / Architect

A leading proprietary trading firm is seeking a Microsoft 365 Technical Lead / Architect to own the design, automation, security, and operation of its Microsoft 365 environment. You'll be responsible for delivering a scalable, secure, and highly automated modern workplace platform supporting a fast-paced trading business.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the Microsoft 365 platform, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, and Entra ID.
• Design and implement identity, access management, and endpoint security solutions.
• Drive automation and Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives using PowerShell, Terraform, Graph API, Azure CLI, and GitHub.
• Manage Azure resources supporting the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Lead platform modernization, governance, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Serve as the senior technical escalation point and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Microsoft 365, Endpoint, or Platform Engineering experience.
• Deep expertise with Microsoft 365 Administration, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, Azure infrastructure and governance, PowerShell, Graph API, Terraform, and automation
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments of 8,000 users or more.
• Proven ability to balance operational ownership with strategic transformation projects.

Preferred

• Experience within trading, financial services, hedge funds, or other low-latency, high-availability environments.
• Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft 365 certifications.
• Exposure to Defender, Purview, Power Platform, and Microsoft Copilot.

This is an hybrid role based out of the firms Chicago office.
