Job summary

SwitchThink Solutions LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Microsoft Architect to lead the design and delivery of modern Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, and AI-enabled solutions. The role focuses on secure, scalable architectures and governance aligned with business goals.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, guide Copilot and AI initiatives, and ensure compliance, data protection, and optimal licensing. This is a hybrid position based in Phoenix.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of experience designing, configuring, implementing, integrating, or managing Microsoft enterprise technologies (365, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, Entra ID, Power Platform, Azure, security, compliance, automation).
• 3+ years of experience leading technical teams or workstreams implementing and supporting Microsoft collaboration, productivity, automation, or cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and oversee end-to-end Microsoft 365 collaboration, communication, automation, and integration solutions.
• Serve as SME for Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, Power Platform, identity, security, compliance, and related cloud services.
• Document and maintain Microsoft solution architecture and technology portfolio; recommend improvements and modernization opportunities.
• Review designs for alignment with architecture standards, licensing, security, privacy, compliance, data governance, and supportability.
• Collaborate with project managers, vendors, security, data, and IT stakeholders to develop estimates and implementation plans.
• Model business and system processes via use cases, diagrams, and data flows.
• Act as strategist and trusted advisor for Microsoft collaboration, Copilot, and AI capabilities.
• Develop long-term strategic goals and short-term plans for Microsoft platforms, governance, lifecycle, adoption.
• Ensure architectures align with Data/ Enterprise Architecture, security, privacy, and responsible AI.
• Provide architectural direction to architects, engineers, and delivery teams.
