Job summary

Greater Texas | Aggieland Credit Union is seeking a Microsoft 365 Administrator to lead and manage our Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive. You will implement security policies, data retention, and DLP, and support cloud messaging in the Office 365 suite.

The role requires at least 3 years of cloud-based M365 administration, strong collaboration, and scripting experience with PowerShell.

Qualifications

  • Deep experience with Office 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive).
  • Infrastructure Admin & design in Office 365 and/or Azure cloud.
  • Experience designing, building, deploying, and managing workloads in Office 365.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Minimum 3 years in administering a cloud-based Microsoft 365 environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide thought leadership and SME in Microsoft 365 services.
  • Manage day-to-day operations and the Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Support security policies, data retention, and DLP rules.
  • Troubleshoot and support Microsoft 365 issues; configure SSO with AD FS and MFA.
  • Automate processes with PowerShell and develop scripts.

The Basics of a Microsoft 365 Administrator:
  • Status: Full-Time Exempt.
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Flexibility: Occasional hours outside of the regular schedule may be needed to support organizational priorities.
What you'll do as a Microsoft 365 Administrator:

Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise in all aspects of Microsoft 365 services. Manage day to day operations and serve as a subject matter expert over the entire Microsoft 365 environment. Provide effective and efficient support of all Microsoft 365 issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Must be able to provide complete administration of the Microsoft 365 environment and its capabilities.
  • Query Exchange environment using the Office 365 Command online tool.
  • Implement and support security policies, such as data retention.
  • Support the messaging environment in the Cloud (Microsoft 365).
  • Experience with configuring and supporting data loss prevention (DLP) rules, archiving policies, spam filtering, logging and email tracking and transport rules.
  • Primary support for all Microsoft 365 issues.
  • Configure and Support Single Sign-On using Active Directory Federation Services with Multi Factor Authentication.
  • Perform scripting administration tasks and reporting using PowerShell.
  • Develop scripts for automating processes within the environment.
  • Recurring audits on the Active Directory environment to reconcile users.
  • Manage user's mobile devices through our Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions (MS Intune).
  • Troubleshoot active sync issues with mobile devices.
  • Documents operational processes and ensure IT support knowledge base is accurate and kept up to date.
  • Comply with the credit union Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Policy and Anti Money Laundering and Member Due Diligence Procedures. The BSA training is to be completed within 90 days of employment.
  • Complete compliance and career development training as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Must Haves as a Microsoft 365 Administrator:
Required Skills Include:
  • Deep experience in Office 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, etc.)
  • Knowledgeable of the wider market of collaboration tools used in an enterprise environment.
  • Infrastructure Administration & solution design with hands-on experience in Microsoft Office 365 and/or Azure cloud.
  • Experience designing, building, deploying, and managing workloads in Office 365.
  • Strong ability to work well with others.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to all levels of the organization.
  • Required Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in administering a cloud-based Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Required Education: High School Diploma or GED
Nice to Haves as a Microsoft 365 Administrator:
  • Preferred Skills Include: Windows Server administration, VMWare administration, Storage Area Network (SAN) administration
  • Preferred Experience: Credit Union or banking experience in IT.
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related field.
