Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Microservices Product Technical Lead who is an API professional with microservices experience. As a Microservices Product Technical Lead, you will be responsible for supporting and implementing APIs, integrating applications with middleware platforms, and repositories like GitHub, SonarQube, Jenkins. Your role includes designing, developing, and managing API solutions using Google Cloud Apigee, focusing on microservices architecture, ensuring seamless service integration, and leveraging Apigee's security, scalability, and monitoring features. You will lead development teams, implement SRE practices, and create, deploy, and maintain backend systems using Java and Spring Boot. Knowledge of front-end technologies, CICD, and Splunk is also required. Staying updated with latest tech trends, understanding business domains, managing priorities, and demonstrating urgency are essential. You should lead by example in coding and ownership of application modules.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the field per year of education.
• At least 4 years of relevant IT experience.
• This position may require travel to project or client locations.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with API and Microservices integration.
• Experience in application development and support.
• Designing and developing RESTful APIs, experience with API management tools like API Manager.
• Experience with messaging formats (RAML, SOA, REST, SOAP), network security, CICD, Jenkins, and version management.
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodologies, middleware development, and global delivery environment.

The role may involve extensive travel, long hours at a computer, and effective communication via various channels.
