Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Micromaterials Material Handler 3 for the Rolling Meadows, IL area. The role involves stocking, picking, consolidating, and moving microelectronic materials using SAP, under strict ESD and cleanroom procedures.

The ideal candidate will use a microscope for precision handling, support kitting and hardware builds, and participate in continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with SAP inventory systems and material handling.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Government Secret Clearance.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Stock and stage material in the Micro-Electronics stockroom according to procedures.
• Pick, consolidate, and move material to production using SAP transactions.
• Operate under ESD practices and cleanroom handling procedures.
• Maintain documentation and traceability of materials and actions.
• Coordinate with engineering/quality/production on holds and changes; use precision tooling.
• Perform microscope-based inspections and assemble/disassemble precision components.
