Job summary

The Route Driver – Micromarket position with Compass Group USA's Canteen in Tucson, AZ, delivers products along an established micro market route and maintains related equipment. You project a professional image and build strong client relationships while supporting daily operations and route execution.

This role includes inventory management, product merchandising, and routine truck loading with a focus on safety, efficiency, and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years driving experience.
• Prefer 1–2 years customer service experience.
• Valid Non-CDL Class C driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate or learn material handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for micro market.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Display a clear understanding of company policies and ability to administer as needed.
• Performs routine cleaning and sanitation of micro market and other related equipment.
• Conducts minor service and adjustments on markets; reports defects promptly.
• Prior to each day’s route, ensure truck is loaded with products for scheduled markets following procedures.
• Informs regular clients of new products or services and resolves service complaints.
• Sets up merchandise and sales promotion displays and materials.
• Accountable for receipt of goods, invoices, and cash handling.
• Conducts inventory reconciliation and keeps vehicle clean; performs pre/post trip inspections.
• Perform all job functions in a safe and professional manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
