Job summary

Google is seeking a Test Engineer for MicroLED display manufacturing to qualify, deploy, and support test systems for microLED and display panels. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate testing capabilities and provide critical data for engineering and production.

You will work with our test engineering and operations teams to optimize test time, extend capabilities, expand capacity, and reduce costs for production test plans.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in optoelectronics test, display metrology, or semiconductor manufacturing.
• 4 years deploying, validating, and debugging semiconductor hardware test systems.
• 4 years writing and debugging test system software.
• Experience scripting in SQL or Python.
• Experience with remote test fleets or CM environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Test Development to release high-speed optical/electrical test systems offshore.
• Design and implement automated pipelines for Gauge R&R, software deployment, and health monitoring.
• Scale test capacity to offshore CM sites and establish remote fleet protocols.
• Professionalize hardware integration and create replication documentation.
• Provide rapid-production support during critical ramp periods.
