Job summary

Axoft, located in Cambridge, MA, is seeking a technical staff member to support the microfabrication team in manufacturing brain-machine interface devices on-site. The role requires hands-on wafer fabrication and electronics packaging, with strict cleanroom and documentation practices.

You will report to the microfabrication team lead and contribute to engineering documentation. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in regulated manufacturing, a science/engineering bachelor’s degree, and strong

Qualifications

At least 2 years in complex manufacturing in a regulated environment.
Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering field; other combinations may be considered.
Ability to remain focused during repetitive, delicate wafer fabrication and electronics packaging.
Strong documentation and reporting skills; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

Perform wafer fabrication and electronics packaging for brain-computer interface devices.
Maintain cleanroom protocol and discipline (gowning, contamination control, SOPs).
Report to microfabrication team lead on progress and plans.
Produce engineering documentation.
