Job summary

Axoft in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Technical Staff, Microfabrication to join our on-site team manufacturing neural probes for brain–machine interfaces. We look for candidates with 2+ years in complex manufacturing in regulated environments, a science or engineering degree, and strong attention to detail, thorough documentation, and excellent communication.

ISO-13485 experience and cleanroom discipline are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering required or equivalent.
• At least 2 years in complex manufacturing in a regulated environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive, delicate wafer fabrication tasks with precise documentation.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform wafer fabrication and electronics packaging to produce brain–computer interface devices.
• Maintain cleanroom protocol and discipline, including gowning, contamination control, and SOP adherence.
• Report progress to microfabrication team lead and discuss ongoing plans.
• Produce engineering documentation.
