Job summary
Amentum is seeking a hands-on engineer to support the Strategic Microelectronics program as a Construction Analysis Lab engineer. The role focuses on leading construction analysis of microelectronic components, developing test plans, executing tests, and presenting results to customers and stakeholders.
Ideal candidates will have experience with microelectronic packaging, destructive and non-destructive testing, MIL-STD knowledge, and strong written and verbal communication to translate complex
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and two years' relevant experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
- Experience with microelectronic packaging and construction analysis techniques
- Knowledge of MIL-STD standards (MIL-STD-750, -202, -883, -981, -1580)
- Ability to communicate technical results in written reports
Responsibilities
- Technical oversight of construction analysis
- Develop and maintain construction analysis test programs
- Provide technical oversight for test data and procedures
- Develop SOPs and test plans
- Analyze data and present results to customers
- Prepare reports for stakeholders
- Maintain records of testing
- Communicate results to technical and non-technical audiences
