Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Electronics Technician/Mechanical Engineer to support the Strategic Microelectronics program in the United States. You will oversee construction analysis of CCAs, electronic packaging, and microelectronic components, and develop test plans with execution and reporting of results.

You will prepare technical reports for customers and present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology with two years' relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
• Experience with microelectronics construction analysis and test methods.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Technical oversite of construction analysis.
• Instrument ownership and capability development.
• Establish, develop and maintain construction analysis test programs.
• Provide technical oversight for test data and procedures.
• Develop standard operating procedures and test plans.
• Data analysis, reporting, and communication.
• Prepare and review reports and presentations for customers/stakeholders.
• Maintain organized records of testing.
